London here we go!

How I feel now? I think that one picture talk more than a thousand words.

I have a big mixture of feelings. I'm so happy and I feel a lot of positive energy to go to London but also I'm very nervous and concerned. Firstly I'm so excited to go to London because I've never been to UK and I've never spent so many days with my class friends. I think that London is a beautiful city were we can spend a good time. For another part I'm very nervous because I've never been on a plane for a long time and also I don't like planes and a lot less turbulence.

The basical information about the trip has given us the teachers and is the following:

• The date of departure is the 25th of February at 2 a.m and the date of the arrival is the 29th of February at 2 a.m.
• As we go to UK we've to change euros to pounds. One euro equals 0,78 pounds.
• The teachers advised us to bring umbrellas and coats, because in England the weather is so different of the weather of the mediterranean sea.
• To travel is indispensable the passport, the ID and the European Health Card
• The mesurement of the suitcase is 55x20x40 and its weight 10 kg.
• Into the suitcase we must bring winter clothes, a travel adapter plug and confortable shoes.
• The vanity case has to be transparent and the shampoos has to be maximun of 100 ml
• We go to a hostel called Safestay Holland Park.

This hostel is so beautiful with all the decoration green and mostly pink. PINK!. In this hostel we have the reception, cafe, pool room and a beautiful room. We go into a room of 13 people. This room will be Laura, Berta, Ari, Katia, Paula, Alexandra, Kaotar, Marta, Jordina and me. And this are the photos:

I'm very excited to go to the museums and all the structures typical of London and spend a lot of good time. I would like to go to British museum and go with a red bus. Another part is that I would like to experiment is the orientacion in a big city and if I can move into the city more easily.

I'm so nervous to go and excited. And again I say that one picture talk more than a thousand words.

Design theory and design of Enric Satué

Enric Satué is one of the most famous Catalonian designers in the XX and XXI century. Satué is one of the few historians of Spanish design. He is still active. 

This great designer has created as many designs throughout his career, and we can say a lot because it is still working and has 77 years old. His work can be divided in many sections, logos, signage, posters, packaging ... Their speciality, like any good professional, are the covers of books, one of the works that people admire most.

Another part that helped me in the search has been the dedication of him as a witer. The style of Satué is characterized by a simple style where reflects the most important parts of the topic on a poster or any design. It also differs for his double view, you can see his designs with an objective view or with an subjective view. 

With this project I can concluded that the graphic design has many aspects, and each one is different, but essencial in our daily live. In this project I could talk via online with Enric Satué, and he gave me one advice "If you want to be a graphic designer, you have to learn to use the letters, the images and the colors"

Design theory and design of Enric Satué

In this yoursay I explain my second and last oral presentation of this course. This presentation was about my research paper that talks about the Design theory and design of Enric Satué, one of the best Spanish designers. This time I can't post the presentation because I created it with a Powerpoint, but later you can see the video of the presentation.

Now I explain a little bit about who is Enric Satué. Satué is a man who was born in Barcelona and is currently 77 years old. He is one of the most important and revolutionary catalan designer of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. He is also one of the few Spaniards, who have the title of historian of design. Now he still active creating desogns in her studio located in Alella, Barcelona.

The main ideas are the sources of information, the objectives, the scheme of work, the designs of Enric Satué, my posters and the conclusions. In the objectives I explain why I chose this topic and the reasons that motivated me to do it. Within the scheme of work we found two diferents parts the theoretical part and the practical part. Into the theoretical part we found the main idea of the designs of Enric Satué. And in the practical part we found two posters that I created from the information that I have taken on the designs of Enric Satué. I aslo argue that I have relied mainly on four of his works. And finally the conclusions that I have taken on this project.

MY OPINION ABOUT MY ORAL PRESENTATION:

I think that my presentation was not bad but I was so nervous because I was lonely in front of all the english class.

Presentation (10%)	10%	The presentation was interactive, with pictures of all that I explained. I put only de mainly ideas and I wrote only the titles and the key words
Body Language (10%)	6%	I was so nervous and I read a few sentences. But I look at the whole class while made the presentation.
Structure (10%)	10%	The structure was perfect because I explain all in order.
Content (40%)	30%	I put the most important information, but it lacked many ideas of the biography of Enric Satué
Language (20%)	15%	I used a lot of new language and a lot of technical words.
Pronunciation (10%)	7%	I failed a lot with the words with basically pronunciation but in the difficult ones I pronunciation good
TOTAL:	78% = 7,8	I was so happy for the presentation but I can’t improve the pronunciation, the body language, the language and don’t forget any idea in the content
